Let’s chat about brand words— and I’m not talking only about wanting your brand to be “bold and colorful”— so let’s dive deeper into brand words + how we use them as brand attributes as well!⁣

When I work with my clients during our brand strategy session we complete a whole exercise about brand words + attributes and how they relate to their brand’s community, culture, voice, emotion, impact + how it makes them magnets for their ideal clients⁣

During the exercise I have a word bank (the post here); but I ask my clients to think about words they want their audience to use when their audiences think of their brand. How would their clients describe their brand to someone else? How does their brand make them feel when they interact with it and other brand words they want to be used whenever their name comes up so we can create something unique, about them, their services AND magnetic⁣

Building a brand is more than just the visual. It’s the intangible feelings we want our audience + clients to feel as well⁣

Here are some questions to ask yourself when looking at this list of brand words:⁣

– How would your community describe you?⁣
– How would you describe your audience/clients?⁣
– How do you sound to others?⁣
– How do other feel after interacting with you?⁣
– What tangible impact do you have on others?⁣
– How are you different from others in your field?⁣
– Why are people drawn to your company?⁣
⁣
